Brew’dBites started off as an initiative from a project at the Hanzehogeschool of Applied Sciences with a team of students whom were interested in the possibilities of making food products from beer waste, together with the knowledge of Geert Kuipers.
Even though the project ended, the vision stayed. Now Brew’dBites is ran by Geert Kuipers en Bram Fledderus. We combine academic knowledge with real-world entrepreneurial experience to transform ideas into impactful solutions. Our business is a testament to teamwork, creativity, and a commitment to a more sustainable future.
DistriBugs is a company specialized in the processing of insects and using these in as many utilizable projects as possible. With the alternative protein expertise of Geert Kuipers from within this organization we have a lot of knowledge and facilities which we can use at Brew’dBites.
Where DistriBugs is limited to the insect market, we at Brew’dBites want to utilize the waste products from breweries to create and expand the alternative protein market in every way possible.
